What would people be surprised to learn about your company or culture?
As a startup, we offered a single product, NotifiCRM, and we’ve grown since then – now we’re proud to deliver game-changing tools and technology across various verticals, including medical device sales, sports teams, and retail sellers.
Whether we serve a direct sales company with independent distributors or a sales and marketing team with complex, compliance-driven products, the goal is to win more sales and build a stronger customer base.
Verb is also dedicated to its larger ethical and social responsibilities. In fact, Nasdaq recently published a case study on Verb’s ESG program and the company’s use of Nasdaq’s OneReport. The case study underscores Verb’s commitment to becoming a leader in ESG initiatives among small-cap companies.
What are the biggest surprises/changes you have seen in the past five years?
Like most companies, the pandemic took us entirely by surprise and it affected us two-fold. Internally, our team went fully remote in March 2020, and most employees continue to work from home today. While it was an unexpected change, it opened our eyes to the benefits of a remote workforce. Remote positions can now be filled with the ideal candidate, regardless of their geographic location, and our employees have continued to form excellent working relationships, even from a distance.
“We’ve learned much together over the last couple of years and with verbCRM, and it’s been incredible to share our knowledge with others. During the pandemic, we showed so many people how easy it is to prospect and make connections from their homes – you can easily upload your content, share it with contacts, and follow up, all right from your phone. We love giving people the most important thing: time to spend with their loved ones.” – Alex Cooper, CRM Product Owner
Externally – on the customer service level – we discovered that years of preparation meant we were perfectly positioned to help others build their businesses. It was a case of right place, right time – suddenly, our interactive video-based suite of tools was the perfect solution for clients and their team members who were isolating at home. It was incredible to see how clients across all verticals could simply recruit, train, onboard, and retain from a distance by integrating our platforms into their businesses.
“VERB helps us because we are dedicated to supporting and empowering Stemtech’s expansive network of Independent Business Partners by equipping them with the most current and best-in-class digital technology sales tools available. With VERB’s sales enablement applications, our IBPs will be able to capitalize on our social media assets and content and more effectively engage with customers and prospects via livestream video to bolster our customer acquisition efforts and increase sales conversion rates.” – John W. Meyer, President and COO at Stemtech
What product or service are you most proud of?
We believe that while distributors may be at the heart of an organization, customers are its lifeblood. One way to ensure your base continues to grow is by establishing an incredible customer journey that starts from the very first order. We created verbPULSE to give our clients the tools they need to create these incredible customer journeys.
PULSE provides distributors a goldmine of data about customers and their buying patterns via at-a-glance back-office reporting. These tools allow them to connect personally enrolled customers, increase sales, and win back inactive customers. Ultimately, this results in an individually-tailored journey that feels organic for each customer.
Benefits of verbPULSE:
- Automated management of customer relationships and interactions
- Behavior-driven prompts, reminders, and suggested actions for specific customers
- A variety of activity-based reports, offering insights on first-time orders, upcoming or canceled shipments, and active or inactive customers
- Interactive video-based communication tools
- Pre-written messages with suggested content based on there commended action
- A dashboard view of sales team members that provides insights for sales team management

“At Verb, members support each other’s personal and professional lives, and everyone is genuinely passionate about the products we’re creating. Our team activities and meetings make it easy to get to know the people we’re working with and to create great working relationships. As a working mom, I feel so lucky to be at a company that offers unlimited PTO, eight weeks of maternity leave, and other benefits that make it easier to achieve a good work-life balance.” – Heather Hanson, Content Marketing Manager
We’re also proud to offer unlimited PTO, remote-work options, full benefits, 401(k) matching, parental leave, wellness events, and a focus on career development. As a result, many of our employees have switched departments, achieved promotions, and finished schooling while employed with Verb.
