According to Adobe’s 2019 Holiday Recap Report, consumers spent $142.5 billion during November and December, up 13.1 percent year-over-year, and smartphones drove 84 percent of all the online growth during that period. Mobile traffic accounted for 58 percent of traffic to retail sites, which was a 14 percent increase from the previous year. Consumers collectively spent $2.3 billion per day on average during the holiday season, with 29 days at $2 billion. Online revenue growth during the holidays continues to outpace overall retail growth, 13 percent compared to 4 percent overall.
