Coffeehouse giant Starbucks plans on expanding its delivery service to one-fourth of its U.S. company operated shops in dense urban areas such as San Francisco, New York, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Starbucks first piloted the idea in 200 Miami stores. Using the Uber Eats mobile app, Starbucks will make 95 percent of its core menu available for order with a $2.49 booking fee. There are also plans to expand deliveries in China.
