Fredrik Lundqvist, Vorwerk
Vorwerk LLC has appointed Fredrik Lundqvist as CEO. Lundqvist will lead the company’s presence and growth of the Thermomix brand in the U.S. and Canada. Previously, Lundqvist was country manager for Vorwerk International in China. He has nearly 20 years’ experience with Vorwerk, working in Switzerland and Singapore, among others.
Vallen Blackburn, Nature’s Sunshine
Nature’s Sunshine has promoted Vallen Blackburn to vice president and general manager of Latin America. Blackburn joined Nature’s Sunshine in 2016 to help build its business and intelligence strategies, using his prior financial knowledge. He will now leverage that experience in Latin America.
Caroline Le Roch, The Body Shop
The Body Shop, a subsidiary of Natura, has appointed Caroline Le Roch as managing director, Europe. She succeeds Qasar Qayyum. Le Roch previously served as president of the Americas for Godiva Chocolatier. She has over 20 years of experience in the international retail industry, having worked with Beaute Prestige International and L’Occitane.
Deann Carter, 4Life
4Life has promoted Deann Carter to senior vice president of accounting. Carter started her direct selling career as director of customer service for ShapeRite and then controller within its accounting department. When 4Life acquired ShapeRite in 2000, Carter transitioned as well. She most recently served as vice president of accounting for 4Life.
Ebru Erkan Ayanoğlu, Oriflame
Ebru Erkan Ayanoğlu has become the new general manager of Oriflame Turkey. Ayanoğlu, who has held different positions at Oriflame for 16 years, most recently serving as deputy MD and sales and marketing director. She succeeds Johan Larsson. Ayanoğlu has spent 26 years in the beauty industry starting with Avon and worked briefly with Vorwerk.
Jean-David Schwartz, Yves Rocher
France’s Groupe Rocher, parent company of Arbonne, has named Jean-David Schwartz as global CEO of Yves Rocher. He joined Yves Rocher in 2002. Schwartz later worked with Tridem Pharma before returning to Rocher. He led Arbonne after its purchase by Groupe Rocher in 2018 before serving as deputy CEO of the parent company.
Deborah Dixon, 4Life
4Life has promoted Deborah Dixon to senior vice president of marketing communications. Previously vice president of marketing communications, Dixon will oversee communications, planning and content. Before joining 4Life, she was a manager with the Salt Lake City Organizing Committee for the 2002 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
Nate Buhler, 4Life
4Life has appointed Nate Buhler as chief global supply chain officer. Buhler joined the company in 2011 as director of manufacturing and most recently served as senior vice president of operations. Buhler will now oversee manufacturing, QC, procurement, distribution and fulfillment. Before joining the 4Life staff, Buhler worked at Nestle USA.
Dr. Lili Yang, 4Life
Lili Yang, M.D., Ph.D., has joined the 4Life Health Science Advisory Board (HSAB). A professor of the Department of Nutrition at Sun Yat Sen University (SYSU) in China, Dr. Yang has conducted research at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Cleveland Clinic, among others. She also has published research papers, presented, and received numerous honors.
Kelly Rich, ASEA
ASEA has hired Kelly Rich as senior vice president of global sales. Rich will partner with ASEA leadership to implement strategies for overall sales. She joins the company with over 20 years’ experience within health and wellness. Most recently, she was VP of U.S. sales for Nature’s Sunshine and has worked with LifeVantage and MODERE.
Jeanne Rawdin, Kannaway
Jeanne Rawdin has joined Kannaway, a direct selling subsidiary of Medical Marijuana Inc., as global communications manager. Rawdin has previously worked as a TV reporter, producer, and media advisor and founded her own company, Epic Storytelling. She has experience in broadcast journalism, marketing, communications and producing.
Taylor Worre, The Happy Co.
Taylor Worre has been hired by The Happy Co. as vice president of field development. For 17 years, Worre has worked in network marketing, joining his first company as a distributor in 2005. He later moved to corporate, working for Agel. In recent years, he has focused on communications and field development for WORLD Global Network and LifeVantage.
Anddrew Tan, ASEA
Anddrew Tan has joined ASEA as general manager for Malaysia and Singapore. Tan will be a liaison between corporate and the Malaysia and Singapore markets. He joins ASEA with more than 18 years of direct sales experience in Southeast Asia, working with Young Living, USANA, and CNI. He brings knowledge in sales, marketing, operations and finance.
Simon Bowler, U.K. DSA
The U.K.’s Direct Selling Association has named Simon Bowler as new chair of the board. He succeeds Andy Smith, Amway’s U.K. and Ireland general manager, who served in the role for nine years. Bowler is currently vice president, global partner relations at Juice Plus+, where he has worked for 31 years.
