Amazon Prime Air is expanding to include new regional hubs across the U.S. The online giant announced the opening of two new regional hubs this year in Fort Worth, Texas, Wilmington, Ohio, and the expansion of one in Rockford, Illinois, making for a total of 23 U.S airport locations.
Amazon will open a $1.5 billion hub at the Cincinnati airport 2021, with room for over 100 planes. The new logistics company is now handling its own shipping for roughly 26 percent of Amazon orders, directly competing with its third-party delivery options UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
