Giusy Buonfantino, Amway
Amway has hired Giusy Buonfantino as chief digital and marketing officer (CDMO). She joins Amway from Kimberly-Clark where she served as CMO. In her new role, Buonfantino will head Amway’s global digital and marketing organizations and design and execute growth strategies. She also will lead design and delivery for Amway’s online, mobile and social shopping experiences.
Steve Pederson, 4Life
4Life has named Steve Pederson as vice president of quality. Pederson has extensive experience in quality assurance and quality control in supplements and nutraceuticals spanning 15 years, including time at Cascata Packaging, Creminelli Fine Meats and Nellson LLC. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps and as an assistant professor of naval science at the University of Arizona.
Amaury Vergara Zatarain, OMNILIFE CHIVAS Group
Amaury Vergara Zatarain has been appointed president of the OMNILIFE-CHIVAS Group. He previously served as executive vice president and general manager since August 2018. Vergara has been president of the Guadalajara Sports Club since June 2019 and is founder and CEO of Chivas TV. He succeeds his father, Jorge Vergara Madrigal.
Gordon Hester, Zurvita
Global business strategist Gordon Hester has joined Zurvita as chief innovation officer. Hester will focus on modernizing the company to improve retention and increasing acquisition. Other improvements include a new e-commerce website, back office experience and lead generation program. Hester spent 25 years at Roberti Enterprises and JuicePlus+.
Johnna Johnson, Veribella Inc.
Veribella Inc. has appointed Johnna Johnson as vice president of sales and field development. Johnson brings nearly 25 years of experience in direct sales, including time at Scentsy, Initials Inc., Damsel in Defense, Because Cosmetics and Karine Joncas Cosmetiques. Johnson will oversee all functions in sales and marketing.
Rick Goings, Tupperware Brands
Rick Goings, chairman emeritus of Tupperware Brands, has retired from the Board; he will focus on philanthropic work, including the World Federation of Youth Clubs, an organization he co-founded and currently chairs. Goings joined Tupperware as president and CEO in 1992 and stepped down as chairman and CEO in May 2018.
Tyler Madsen, 4Life
Tyler Madsen has been promoted to 4Life’s vice president of global markets, Eurasia, which includes Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Mongolia. Madsen joined 4Life in 2013 as an international coordinator. Previously, he worked in communications and marketing for Days for Girls International and taught the Russian language at Indiana University.
David Vanderveen, NewAge
David Vanderveen has joined NewAge as chief operating officer of its direct selling division, known as Noni by NewAge. Vanderveen has more than 20 years of experience in direct selling, having founded and served as CEO of XS Energy, which he sold to Amway in 2015. He most recently joined the Board of RX3 Ventures, of which he is an investor.
Clint McKinlay, Ruby Ribbon
Ruby Ribbon Inc. has hired Clint McKinlay as CEO. A veteran of direct sales, McKinlay has driven revenue growth and international expansion for Yves Rocher, JAFRA Cosmetics, Shaklee and Rodan + Fields, among others, as well as co-founded Zrii. Under McKinlay’s direction, Ruby Ribbon will strengthen its existing Stylist base and empowering women in entrepreneurship.
James Sharkey, MyDailyChoice
MyDailyChoice has hired James Sharkey as chief science officer. In his new role, Sharkey will oversee CBD product formulations and new product development for all MyDailyChoice brands. He previously developed CBD products for Therabis LLC as chief scientific officer. Sharkey earned a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences and has taught college classes in biochemistry.

Jory Russell has been appointed senior vice president of international expansion at MyDailyChoice. Russell has over 20 years of business experience, the last 10 spent in direct selling helping companies expand their international businesses. He most recently served as general manager of Gold Canyon, but has also held leadership roles at Young Living, Isagenix and Melaleuca.
