Chinese officials have announced that the 100-day campaign is not the end of overseeing the sale of health and wellness products in the country, but rather the beginning of more strict supervision. The government continues to restrict the sales meetings that direct sellers rely on. Nu Skin shares decreased 14 percent and the company pre-announced disappointing Q2 results on July 16, tying the decline directly to reduced revenue in mainland China, which represented 33 percent of the company’s revenue in 2018.
